This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the rules and guidelines for using Deepest (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for users who violate this policy.

Deepest provides access to multiple AI models through a unified interface. While we do not create the AI responses, we are committed to ensuring our platform is used responsibly and ethically.

2. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service for any of the following purposes:

2.1 Illegal Activities

  • Violating any applicable laws, regulations, or legal requirements
  • Facilitating or promoting illegal activities
  • Evading law enforcement or regulatory oversight
  • Money laundering, fraud, or financial crimes
  • Circumventing export controls or sanctions

2.2 Harmful Content

  • Generating content that promotes violence, terrorism, or extremism
  • Creating content that exploits, abuses, or endangers minors
  • Producing sexually explicit content involving minors (strictly prohibited)
  • Generating content that promotes self-harm or suicide
  • Creating content intended to harass, bully, or intimidate others
  • Producing hate speech or content that discriminates based on protected characteristics

2.3 Malicious Activities

  • Generating malware, viruses, or malicious code
  • Creating phishing content or social engineering attacks
  • Attempting to compromise computer systems or networks
  • Generating content to facilitate cyberattacks or data breaches
  • Creating tools for unauthorized access to systems

2.4 Deception and Misinformation

  • Generating deliberately false or misleading content presented as fact
  • Creating disinformation campaigns or propaganda
  • Impersonating individuals, organizations, or AI systems
  • Fabricating evidence, documents, or credentials
  • Creating deceptive content for fraud or scams
  • Generating fake reviews, testimonials, or endorsements

2.5 Privacy Violations

  • Processing personal data without proper consent or legal basis
  • Creating content that invades others' privacy
  • Doxing or revealing private information about individuals
  • Generating content to stalk, track, or surveil individuals
  • Processing sensitive personal information (health, financial, biometric) inappropriately

2.6 Intellectual Property Violations

  • Generating content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, or patents
  • Creating unauthorized derivatives of protected works
  • Circumventing digital rights management or access controls
  • Using the Service to systematically extract training data from AI models

2.7 Professional and Regulated Activities

  • Providing medical, legal, or financial advice as a substitute for qualified professionals
  • Making critical decisions affecting health, safety, or legal rights without human oversight
  • Using AI outputs in safety-critical systems without proper validation
  • Circumventing professional licensing or regulatory requirements

2.8 Platform Abuse

  • Attempting to bypass usage limits, rate limiting, or access controls
  • Sharing account credentials or allowing unauthorized access
  • Automated scraping or bulk data extraction
  • Interfering with the Service's operation or infrastructure
  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract our source code
  • Reselling or redistributing access to the Service without authorization

3. Responsible Use Guidelines

We encourage users to follow these best practices:

  • Verify outputs: AI responses may contain errors. Always verify important information from authoritative sources.
  • Maintain human oversight: Use AI as a tool to assist, not replace, human judgment in important decisions.
  • Respect boundaries: Avoid attempting to bypass AI safety measures or content filters.
  • Disclose AI use: When appropriate, disclose that content was generated with AI assistance.
  • Protect privacy: Avoid inputting sensitive personal information unless necessary.
  • Report issues: Report concerning outputs or potential misuse to our team.

4. AI Model Provider Policies

Deepest provides access to AI models from various providers, each with their own usage policies. By using the Service, you agree to comply with the acceptable use policies of the underlying AI providers, including but not limited to:

  • OpenAI Usage Policies
  • Anthropic Acceptable Use Policy
  • Google AI Principles and Policies
  • Other AI provider policies as applicable

Each AI provider may have additional restrictions. If an AI model refuses a request, respect that decision and do not attempt to circumvent it through prompt manipulation.

5. Monitoring and Enforcement

We reserve the right to:

  • Monitor usage patterns to detect violations of this AUP
  • Investigate reported or suspected violations
  • Take appropriate action, including warnings, suspension, or termination
  • Report illegal activities to law enforcement authorities
  • Cooperate with legal processes and law enforcement requests

We implement automated systems and human review to identify potential policy violations. Content flagged for review may be examined by our trust and safety team.

6. Consequences of Violations

Violations of this AUP may result in:

  • Warning: First-time or minor violations may result in a warning
  • Temporary suspension: Repeated or moderate violations may result in temporary account suspension
  • Permanent termination: Severe or repeated violations may result in permanent account termination without refund
  • Legal action: Serious violations may be reported to law enforcement and may result in legal action

We determine the appropriate response at our sole discretion based on the nature and severity of the violation.

7. Reporting Violations

If you encounter content or behavior that violates this AUP, please report it to us:

Please provide as much detail as possible, including the nature of the violation and any relevant context. We review all reports and take appropriate action.

8. Appeals

If you believe your account was suspended or terminated in error, you may appeal by contacting us at appeals@deepest.app. Please include:

  • Your account email address
  • The date of the suspension or termination
  • An explanation of why you believe the action was in error
  • Any relevant supporting information

We will review your appeal and respond within 10 business days. Our decision on appeals is final.

9. Updates to This Policy

We may update this AUP periodically to address new risks, technologies, or regulatory requirements. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, for significant changes, by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
